Phuket is a shopaholic’s paradise! The island has a great variety of shopping, from bustling open-air village food markets, street stalls and local shops to western style department stores and upmarket specialist shops. With traditional handicrafts, beautifully designed clothing, jewellery, antiques, housewares and much more to choose from, the only thing you’ll regret about shopping in Phuket is that you didn’t bring a bigger suitcase but even that can be bought so don’t worry.

Now the name “Jungceylon” is used as the name of the largest and most modern shopping center in the southern part of Thailand, covering an area of 200,000 square meters in the center of Patong Beach with department stores, major brands and local stores all in airconditioned space you will easily be able to fill some time in here. There is also a variety of entertainment and restaurants venues so for those that want to relax there is something and those that wish to shop there is plenty. Jungceylon offers a fantastic experience of unlimited fun shopping and leisure in style.
is the most fascinating shopping fair in Phuket and is held every Saturday and Sunday on the outskirts of Phuket Town. The 30,000sqm market sells products ranging from fashion, clothes, accessories, souvenirs, fishing equipment and live animals from hamsters to snakes as well as food from cakes to ready-made dishes (there are tables and chairs), to Thai popular snacks (including fried insects). Surprising, fascinating and lively are the three words that describe this must-see market
Phuket has a great variety of Thai handicrafts, some of which come from other parts of Thailand and some regional specialities. Intricate filigree leather pictures, items made from coconuts and sea shells, bronze and lacquer ware and ceramics are just some of the items produced. Some have been created by craftsmen whose skills have been handed down for generations while others are produced in factories using the latest in advanced technology and quality control. You really need to see for yourself…
You can easily spend days visiting cultural and historical places, such as the the Big Buddha, Wat chalong and Phuket Temples or if you would like to get involved with a childrens charity as a volunteer let us know before arriving and we can orangise that for you. The island is easy to get around and a great way to get to know it is by hiring a driver for the day. The coast line is interesting and there are many great view points. If you are heading south then a great spot to check out is Rawai where you can have a seafood lunch and visit the Sea Gypsies before going onto see the Big Buddha, Phuket Town or you could head north and visit the beautiful NaiHan and NaiThon beaches, but there are many more options that we can show you when you arrive:
to Phi Phi Island, James Bond Island, Khai Island, Racha Island, Yao Noi Island. You can also find scuba and snorkeling tours and those that stop to hand feed fish. Or perhaps you may wish to choose a Private boat charter and explore wherever you wish to go. Alternatively there are some great sea kayaking tours which will take you to see some of the strange and beautiful limestone scenery. With caves, tunnels and interior lagoons there is so much to see. New to Southern Thailand is White water rafting but be prepared to get wet!!
You don’t have to be a professional or have legs of steel to enjoy biking in Phuket. A great way to see the island, away from the crowds. Cycle through rubber plantations, around pineapple fields and through local villages, on mountain bikes
There is a wide variety of championship courses here so if you are an avid golfer there are plenty to choose from if you are planning a golfing trip with like minded friends then lets us know and we can put a package together for you. Otherwise we are happy to make individual bookings.
