Phuket is exciting and offers up something for everyone. With a prime location on Surin Beach, The Chava Resort encourages you to experience Phuket in your own way, whether it’s dining in, dining out, hitting the shops, taking in the sights or spending your days lounging on the beach. Live it up in luxury or lounge like a local; the choice is yours!
It takes you a short 3 minute walk through Surin Park to reach Surin Beach, arguably the best beach on the west coast of Phuket and certainly one of the most stunning locations in all of Phuket.
There are plenty of things to do for kids and those young at heart. Siam Adventure Club is right next door and offers kids activities, an Arcade Room, waterslides and even a small cinema. Get active and learn Muay Thai, Thailand’s favorite sport. Blue Tree is more than just a waterpark, but a multi-faced entertainment destination for the entire family. Adventure Mini Golf is a short ride away, offers not just fun but great pizza, too. Catch Junior – a Beach Club just for kids, as well as the Elephant Sanctuary are another must do. Contact us if we can give you more inspiration or information.
We are happy to suggest private boat charters, or local excursions to exciting locations such as the Phi Phi Islands, James Bond Island, Khai Island, Racha Island or Yao Noi Island. All of Phuket’s beaches are well worth visiting, so why not let our staff recommend their favourites to you?
Phuket has loads to offer in terms of excursions. Try out a Thai cooking class, sample street food, visit an elephant sanctuary, admire Sino-Portuguese buildings in Phuket Old Town, visit the temples, learn about Buddhism or visit some of the local industries such as a rubber tree farm, cashew nut factory, coffee roaster or coconut plantation. We’d be delighted to arrange any of these excursions for you!
Phuket is famous for its live shows. Each of these shows is uniquely Thai and sure to please as they offer up magnificent historical and cultural displays. If you’re interested in visiting a show, ask our staff for their recommendations!
Phuket caters to all budgets when it comes to shopping. Jungceylon, Central Patong, Central Festival and Central Festival are proper shopping malls with a large variety of boutique stores and shops where it’s possible to find good deals on designer brands. The endless markets in Phuket are good places to pick up souvenirs and Thai handicrafts. The weekend market in Phuket Town is great for bartering, and the Lard Yai Walking Street on Sundays in Phuket Old Town is well worth a visit. Closer to The Chava, there is the Fun Friday Market which happens at Boat Avenue. It’s a great place for food, drinks and bric-a-brac. Let us know if you we can help you arrange a unique Phuket shopping adventure!
